70th Anniversary Weekend

The Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, number one tourist attraction in North East Lincolnshire celebrates its 70th Anniversary over the weekend of the 14th and 15th July 2018.

To mark this very special occasion, an intensive timetable will be in operation throughout the weekend featuring residents from the railway and some very special guests: ‘Katie’ from Kirklees Light Railway, ‘Smokey Joe’ from Sherwood Forest Railway and ‘Sian’ who is owned by the Sian Project Group and is currently residing at Kirklees Light Railway.

At Lakeside Station, there will be entertainment, children’s activities, model railway layouts, display of the railways history and much more. Get behind the regulator of a CCLR resident in Driver for a Fiver.  An official ceremony on Saturday 14th will mark the railways anniversary.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities over the weekend so make sure your cameras are fully charged.
