Whilst restrictions have been eased, we are still prioritising the safety and well-being of all our staff and visitors.

We will continue to implement additional hygiene and safety measures in accordance with government guidelines. These will be monitored and updated regularly, so please check back here for the latest details.

We want you to be aware of all these changes prior to your visit.

Operational Changes

Railway: You do not have to book for the train, but seats are on a first come, first serve basis. 

Sidings Snack Shack: takeaway hatch using disposable cutlery and trays. No indoor seating currently.

Signal Box Inn: You do not have to book a table, but seats are on a first come, first serve basis.

Before Visiting

If you, or any members of your household display symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you DO NOT visit us until these have cleared.

 

 
During Your Visit


Social Distancing

Queue systems in place for the train and Signal Box Inn
Dividers in place on our roofed carriages to allow each group to sit separately.
Picnic benches have been spaced out to avoid areas becoming overpopulated.

 


Face Masks

We advise anyone over the age of 11 years old (except those medically exempt) to wear a face mask or covering in our station buildings. 

 

 


Contactless Payments

We are accepting card payments only, contactless if you can.

 

 


Hygiene and Sanitisation

We ask all visitors to regularly wash and sanitise their hands on their visit.
Site cleaning regime of high contact points will continue to be in place.

Sanitising stations for our visitors to use at entrances throughout the site.

 

How can you help?

Be ready for contactless card payments.
Bring your own hand sanitiser and wash your hands often.
There are currently no indoor areas open for seating, even in wet weather. We have some sheltered areas such as the station canopy at Lakeside but please bring umbrellas if there is a chance of showers!
