Volunteer Recruitment Day

Have you ever wondered what it is like to volunteer on one of Britain’s oldest seaside miniature railways?

We will open our doors for a behind the scenes look at how our volunteers help keep the railway running, and give you an opportunity to learn about how you could get involved!

If you can spare some time for volunteering we are always seeking more volunteers to join the team and help the railway, not only to keep it running but to help us progress and develop in the future!

There will be opportunities to shadow some of the team to learn more about the roles available such as railway guarding and driving, grounds maintenance and gardening and helping out in our workshops.

A huge variety of volunteer roles are available, and attending the recruitment day is a great opportunity to meet and chat with our friendly team, get a taste of what goes on behind the scenes and learn more about the railway.

The event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and complimentary tea or coffee is provided.
