These terms apply to visits and train travel at Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. Special events, experiences and Season Passes may have additional terms shown when you book or buy them.

Train tickets

• Standard train tickets are purchased on the day of travel and are valid for that day only.

• You may break your journey and use the remaining part of your ticket later on the same day.

• Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied on the train by a responsible adult.

• Buying a ticket does not guarantee immediate boarding. At busy times, you may need to wait for the next available train.

Special events and experiences

Events and experiences may require advance booking and may have specific dates, times, admission arrangements and booking terms. Please check the details shown for your chosen event before purchasing.

Standard train tickets and Season Passes do not automatically include entry to special events. Where an event ticket is required, this will be made clear in the event information.

Season Passes and offers

Season Passes are valid for the period and benefits stated at the time of purchase. They are not valid for selected special events. We may ask to see photo ID when a Season Pass is used.

Discounts, vouchers and promotional offers are subject to their individual terms and may not apply to special events. Please check the offer details before purchasing.

Changes and cancellations

We aim to operate services as advertised, but timetables, trains and activities may change. Services may be delayed, amended or cancelled because of weather, mechanical problems, safety concerns or other circumstances affecting operation.

If we cancel a service or event you have paid for, please contact us so we can explain the options available for your booking. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Safety and conduct

Please follow instructions from our staff and remain behind any marked platform edge until invited to board. Children must be supervised throughout their visit.

We may refuse travel or ask someone to leave if their behaviour puts themselves or others at risk, including where they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Dogs are welcome on regular trains for the advertised fare and must be kept on a lead. Different rules may apply to special events; please check the event details before travelling.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted on the railway site, except in the Signal Box Inn beer garden.

Payment

Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a cashless attraction. On-site payments can be made by card or a supported contactless device.
